BIOGRAPHY

What's up guys, my name is Matt. I'm the Tenor/Creative Director for Flight Scene. The long and short of it is...Flight Scene is my baby. I was raised on Country Music, and trained on Theatre and Pop Music. So when Jeff and I decided to create an a cappella group...we wanted to perform ALL of the musical styles that we loved. Rather than just one.

This show is not just about the music...it's not just about the dancing...it's not just about the story. It's about all of these things. We wanted to use our diverse performance backgrounds to create a brand new type of show for all of you.

This group truly caters to music lovers of all kinds...and that's because we love all kinds of music. We draw our inspiration from multiple sources, and combine them into one unique musical experience.

Jeff Ting -

Hey, my name is Jeff. I was raised in Palm Harbor Florida, a quiet little town west of Tampa. I've been doing a cappella since high school where I joined my first group "After School Specials." I continued my education at UCF where I majored in music (saxophone) and performed with "Gemini Blvd," UCF's premier co-ed a cappella group. Every year Gemini Blvd. participated in a competition called the International Championship of Collegiate A Capella (ICCA). After performing as the Vocal Percussionist for two years, I became the music director for the group...during that time we placed 1st at Quarterfinals and 2nd at Semifinals at the ICCA's. I have always had such a love for a cappella, and I knew that I wanted to perform and arrange for a living. So as soon as I graduated I hit the ground running. I now perform with a pop a cappella group at Disney Springs, a pop a cappella ensemble at Universal Studios FL, as well as performing and arranging all the charts for Flight Scene. It makes for a busy schedule...but I wouldn't have it any other way.

In my free time I like to curl up on the couch with my dog Brian, a bag of Doritos, and Esports playing on my laptop.

Jon Meadows -

Hi I'm Jon, the bass for Flight Scene. I've been living and performing in the Orlando area for almost 10 years. Performing highlights include singing full time with the Voices Of Liberty at Walt Disney World's EPCOT, singing full time with the Dapper Dan's at The Magic Kingdom, multiple contracts with Celebrity Cruise Lines, performing the national anthem at a Jacksonville Jaguars game and many times at the Citrus Bowl, working with Tim Davis (vocal producer of Glee), performing alongside Neil Patrick Harris during the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT, Joey Fatone for a filming at the Magic Kingdom, and Jimmy Fallon on an episode of The Tonight Show!

I'm incredibly happy for all of the blessings I've had in my life, but most importantly my amazing wife Bailey.

Ps. I also have a little pup, named Herky....as in Herky the Hawkeye. Go Hawks.

Bradee Peglow -

Hi guys, I'm Brandee, the alto for Flight Scene. I'm originally from New Hampshire, but moved to Orlando a few years ago to escape the cold.  I spent some time performing aboard cruise ships with Holland America Line and Princess Cruises, and I quickly acquired a preference for warm weather!  Since moving down south, I've had the pleasure of performing at Legoland, Disney Springs, and in the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. Although, my years up in New England also featured some rewarding performance experiences.  I appeared in a feature film directed by Oscar winner Ernest Thompson. I spent my nights working on improv at the Medieval Manor Dinner Theatre in Boston. And I was also involved with TIGER, a touring children's educational theatre troupe...that launched a television program on PBS...and that television program won a New England Emmy Award!

I love yoga, and my puppy Sheera.  In case you can't tell...Flight Scene...we're dog people.

Matt Walker -

Hey guys, I'm Matt. As I said before, I'm the Tenor for Flight Scene. I grew up in Iowa, earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University, and have been traveling the world performing for the past decade. I started my career touring (mostly) the midwest in one Musical after another. Theatrical performance highlights include regional credits in: Company, Hair, Sideshow (directed by Bill Russell), Clue The Musical, and multiple original works. Then I got back to my pop/country music roots when I performed on Princess Cruises and Holland America Line. Those cruise ship contracts were fun because we got to perform everything from Motown to Classic Rock. But the best part of my time with Holland America was meeting and performing with my beautiful girlfriend and partner Brandee. Two years later, she and I moved to Orlando and it truly changed my life. In Orlando I have had the opportunity to embrace many different musical styles such as singing pop a cappella at Disney Springs, accompanying myself on guitar at world class resort stages, singing with a barbershop quartet at Magic Kingdom, a hip hop barbershop ensemble at Universal Studios, and a traveling 50's doo-wop group.

Music is my life.

When I'm not rehearsing I'm probably lifting in my home gym, skateboarding, watching a movie with Brandee and our puppy, or playing classic video games.

Thank you all for supporting us. We couldn't live this dream without you.

Carolyn King -

Hi Friends, my name is Carolyn. I started singing at the age of 5 when I joined my church choir. That was it. I was hooked. I've spent most of my life singing, but it wasn't until college that I thought of it as something I could do professionally. I recently graduated from UCF with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management, and while at UCF I joined my first a cappella group!  An award winning a cappella group who placed at ICCA quarter and semi finals.  After graduating I was hoping I could use my new skill set to perform on a professional level, and it wasn't long before I was performing with an a cappella group down at Disney Springs.

Getting a chance to work with Flight Scene is a very exciting opportunity and I can't wait to see what it has in store for me.

In my free time you can find me running, making chocolate molten lava cakes, or reading Harry Potter.

After all this time?....Always.
